Hey, it was a tough end to the season for Patriot Nation. If the bashing by Baltimore kept you from watching the rest of the playoffs, here are five reasons why you should pick-up the remote and tune in on Sunday.
4- Battle of the Reality Stars: Sure, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood is singing the national anthem during the pregame. But she might not be the biggest reality at the big game. That honor goes to Kim Kardashian, girlfriend of Saints running back Reggie Bush. Or it could go to Kendra Baskett (see picture), wife of Colts wideout Hank Baskett. Kardashian stars in the E! series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Kendra is a former playmate who starred in E!’s “The Girls Next Door” before moving to her own show, “Kendra.” Let’s start celeb-insanity.
3- Ex-Pats abound: Randall Gay, David Thomas, Heath Evans, and Kyle Eckel all spent time with New England, and now play for the Saints. Gay started seven games at corner for New Orleans, recording 37 tackles and an interception this season. Thomas caught a career high 35 passes backing up Jeremy Shockey at tight end. Not bad for players cast aside from [...]

With the Pat’s out and four teams left, who would Pats fans pick to win the Superbowl?
Jets: Absolutely not. No way can Pats fans root for a conference rival. And I even would go as far to say no way should a Pats fan root for any New York team. We should be in the AFC Championship, not them. They were just a wildcard team, we won the division. Not to speak for anyone but myself, but I HATE the Jets. Besides they have a rookie quarterback who’s bound to choke eventually.
Vikings: Some people love Brett Farve. I do not. I hated him last year (see above) when he played for the Jets and helped knock us out of playoffs. And now, I just wish he would retire already. I was pretty annoyed this summer when he was, wasn’t, was, wasn’t retiring. Then, the stunt he pulled about a month ago when Coach Childress wanted to take Brett out of the game to prevent injury (he is an old man, after-all) when the Vikings had already clinched their division, and Farve flat out refused, made me like him even less. I don’t care how old you [...]

The New England Patriots is the team that got Boston’s sports amazing decade started. They were the NFL dynasty of the past ten years. With three Super Bowl championships and a perfect regular season there isn’t much more that the region could ask of the franchise. Yes, that fourth Super Bowl win against the Giants would’ve been incredible, but it still was an absolutely magical decade for the Patriots. So without further ado, here are the top ten Patriot moments of the decade.
10. 59-0: Games in the snow are always memorable. This season against the Tennessee Titans in week six, the Patriots won by a margin of victory not even seen in their dominant 2007 perfect regular season (they also had not shut anyone out that season). Tom Brady took advantage of an already bad pass defense that was weakened even further due to a few injuries in the Titans’ secondary and threw for six touchdowns—five of which were in the second quarter, setting an NFL record. Six different Patriots scored and the defense didn’t allow leading rusher Chris Johnson into the end zone. It was a dominating all-around performance from the Patriots and a message [...]
