I was wrong.
With the 4th Quarter beginning I turned to a few of my esteemed colleagues who were with me at The Garden and I said, “I don’t like this lineup for the Celtics to start the 4th.” The lineup consisted of Nate Robinson, Tony Allen, Ray Allen, Glen Davis and Rasheed Wallace. Woops, I’ll take a mulligan on that one.
This unit turned the tide of the game and maybe the series as the Celtics tied up the NBA Finals at 2-2. Down 62-60 to start the quarter, the Celts jumped on the Lakers with a 10-2 run to go up 72-64. The heart and hustle of this unit was unbelievable. Big Baby was in his words after the game, “a beast.” He poured in 18 points, 9 coming in the 4th. Robinson is instant offense scoring 12 points but he also played strong defense and made a great steal and called a timeout before he could be tied up for a jump ball. Tony Allen played ferocious defense on Kobe Bryant and even chipped in some gritty offense. And Rasheed Wallace nailed a 3 that caused The Garden roof to almost blow off.
And lets [...]
Derek Fisher crying after the Lakers win Game 3 of the NBA Finals, taking a 2-1 series lead. Sorry man, but you need to hold that shit in until at LEAST you win the title, which you won’t BTW, and THEN, you can cry all you want.
OH and get this. It’s not the first time he’s done this either….

Yesterday marked the state’s first official day under this fresh-faced Senator, and the city of Boston was feeling alive.
Even Big Baby got in on the fun, enjoying a nice little piece of history for himself, as he forever engrained his name in Boston Sports lore among the likes of Pedro Martinez and the 1979 Bruins – for all the wrong reasons. During Tuesday night’s tough loss to the Pistons, a team fresh off a 13-game losing streak, Glen Davis snapped back at a heckling fan who was calling him “fat boy,” and “chubs.” Big Baby then indulged in a war of words with the fan, something that didn’t impress Head Coach Doc Rivers.
He’s not the first Boston sports figure to engage in off-the-field activities with opposing fans, nor is he even the first Celtic to do so. But last night’s incident with a Detroit Pistons fan reminded everyone in Boston that [...]
