This is just a little fake letter to poke fun at the person who bought A-Rod’s 500th home run ball at an auction.

Dear You Just Wasted So Much Money,

You just spent $103,579 on a baseball.

And of all baseball’s, the one that flew out of the park to mark A-Roid’s 500th homer. That just makes it so much worse.

Well, you basically just blew what I might make in four years on a ball, a ball that was only special because of lots and lots of steroid use. See, you’re basically supporting the use of the needle in the MLB and possibly even helping fund it. How many more homers can he hit with 100,000 dollars?

What is it gonna do sit in a glass case so you have something to brag about? You could buy yourself something nice like a boat, send your kids to college, or hell, help out some starving children in Africa with that much money. Anything else is a more useful way to spend your money. I bet your wife would have preferred to go on a trip.

I hope that what happens to Babe Ruth’s ball in The Sandlot happens to your ball. I hope your kid feeds it to a giant, slobbering dog and it disappears forever.
