Celtics look to celebrate the 12 games of Christmas

Heard a lot about Tiger Woods lately? Yes.
How about the Patriots and Randy Moss possibly not giving it his all on the field? Yup.
Seen a lot of news about the Red Sox and their new acquisitions? Indeed I have.
What about the Celtics and there 11 game winning streak? Come again?
Thought so. While Boston fans and the media are looking elsewhere, the Celtics are rolling through December. After winning their final 4 games in November, Boston had won their first 7 in December. During the 11 game winning streak, 8 have come on the road, a remarkable accomplishment for any NBA team.
The Celtics are showing their veteran toughness and poise during this streak. They are also showing great scoring balance. It might be time to start talking about a “Big 4” instead of just the “Big 3.” Rajon Rondo has been terrific, averaging just over 10 assists during the streak. He’s also been the high scorer twice during the 11 game run. Meanwhile, Kevin Garnett has been the high scorer 4 times, Paul Pierce 3, and Ray Allen twice. These four players are carrying and sharing the offensive load.
The Celts are winning in different ways. They’ve won high scoring games and defensive battles during the winning streak. They’ve won blowouts and close games. It’s been a wild 11 games, but all have ended with the Celtics putting another notch in the win column.
With three straight games coming up at home starting tomorrow night against the 76ers, Boston has a great opportunity to keep the streak going. A four game road trip follows that with three coming on the west coast after a Christmas Day tilt with the Magic. While the 11 game streak has been impressive and told us a lot about this teams toughness and staying power, the next 7 may tell us even more. Buckle up, it’s going to be a fun ride through the rest of December. And try to pay attention. The Woods scandal is certainly entertaining, there’s nothing more exciting then tracking the Patriots as they try to make a playoff run, and this is still a Red Sox town as they make offseason moves. But, keep your eye on Team Green. They are the Boston team most in the holiday spirit right now, giving fans great basketball and plenty to cheer about.

Good Article … inspired me to add my 2 cents ……….
Looking forward to tomorrow night when the Celtics celebrate the last night of Hanukkah by “lighting” up the 76ers. Rajon Rondo will act like “the shamesh” with assists to light all the other candles: Pierce, Garnett, Allen, Wallace, Perkins, Scalibrini, T. Allen, etc. Glen Davis will be helping himself to heaps of hot latkes. Apple sauce or Sour Cream. Glenn? Hag Sameach!!
This comment made my night. You should meet my dad. you two would be very good friends.
Way to catch the holiday spirit and spread the Celtics Cheer!
